The Rise / L'Ascesa (2021/2024)
Based on the short story “The Other Gods” by H. P. Lovecraft. Mel is the sole survivor of a 1970s cult, trying to reunite with the Gods: monstrous beings worshipped by his family. Alice, passionate about the occult and fascinated by Mel's tales, decides to help him.
This short was screened in numerous festivals from 2021, until 2023 with the title "The Rise", then a new cut titled "L'Ascesa" was released on YouTube on December 2024.
